I am in no way advocating recreational drug use. But I have to speak up here.
It seems like every other day a pro rider tests positive for CERA/EPO/some other banned substance/blood transfusion. Most of these riders end up admitting an entire career or major win attributed solely to the use of said prohibitive substance.
And the cute boy Tom Boonen turns up a positive dope test for coke.
Look, people.
If Tom Boonen wants to snort lines of coke off a hooker’s ass after winning an unprecedented third Paris-Roubaix, LET HIM.
He won the race clean. He just chose a rather unorthodox celebratory route post race.
It’s far better than doping one’s entire career and stealing numerous victories from clean riders.
Again…I in no way advocate recreational drug use. Hell, I’ve never even smoked pot.
