I don’t want to blog about my sewing all the time (only 82% of the time) so to see my latest creations, go
Here for Pants (not Slacks, but Pants!)
and
Here for 50% self drafted Blouse patter, 50% Simplicity 6138
Both are 1960s patterns. I have now mastered fly front zippers and bias seam tape. I even made my own bias seam tape….that is impressive. And I liked it so much that I made some more to use on my current in progress project (just a boring pair of shorts that I already made once, in yellow. The new ones are navy blue.)
Next up is my first attempt at menswear. I got a vintage Simplicity men’s shirt pattern off eBay for $5 and I am going to make Andy a shirt. This will indeed be most challenging…I told my mom about it and she said “well, the hardest part will be the cuffs. When you get the to cuffs..oh well, it will just be really hard.”
Thanks, mom.
I am definitely making a rough draft of this out of an old sheet before I cut any good fabric.

Wow! Very impressive. You are doing such great work!
Can’t wait to see pictures of all your clothes, ESPECIALLY THE SUIT! =)
