After careful examination of this photo, I realized that my rear wheel is not actually touching the ground. If I could ride technical shit as well as I remount, I might actually be good at this sport.

I dropped my chain today doing something like that.
I can’t figure out if you are remounting, or being thrown from the bike. Either way, it’s looks like it’s about to be very painful!
I did manage to take a good “pain face” picture of you today. Nice job out there.
technically you should never superman onto the bike.
your momentum is going down when you land not forward…
should be more like a hurdle, lead with the right knee, slid onto the saddle and pedal…
but that’s all neither here nor there.
i’m still amazed that YOU FINISHED A CROSS RACE!!!! AWESOME
Who care’s how your skills or remounts are. YOU FINISHED.
Now it is time to start picking those ladies off in front of you!
Let’s not hear any more bullshit about you not being able to clear a UCI barrier….mkay?
all things are different when you are “diminutive”
the odds of a flat or a dropped chain when you hit the saddle is very different than lets say… when I remount
a sloppy remount can really throw a wrench into the machine
as far as the superman style…
forward and of course down
you would have to be Superman to go forward without going down
great photo.
